10 Liens Filed

After sending three (3) billing notices and numerous emails to delinquent homeowners, a total of ten (10) liens were filed with Thurston County last week for non-payment of dues.  A total of 110 out of 120 homeowners have paid their dues.  Thank you to all who have paid.  Delinquent homeowners are responsible for the dues, interest and costs of filing/removing the liens.  These costs will ultimately be recouped  when the property is transferred if the homeowner continues to be delinquent.  The Board is also looking at the possibility of taking action against delinquent homeowners in small claims court.  Also FYI, our insurance premiums are fully paid, IRS tax forms timely filed, PO Box renewed and non-profit corporate status properly extended for another year.
