2013 Annual Dues

This is just a friendly reminder that the 2013 annual assessment of $152.50 is due no later than January 15th, 2013. After that date, interest will start to accrue at the rate of 1% per month or any portion thereof (12% per annum). Liens will be filed 30 days later on properties with any balance due. Please help the HOA save administrative expenses by paying your assessment on time. Timely payment of dues saves us all the time and expense of continued billing and lien filing. A big thank you to all the homeowners (52/120) who have paid their dues thus far.

Don't think your use of trying to use the internet for the HOA is going to work. Have had a lot of people asking me how much the dues are as they haven't received their bill...Might want to think this over.....

Thank you for your comment, however, it is misinformed. If you would like to email us the names of any homeowner who claim they haven’t received a bill, we’ll be happy go back through the records to verify that they were sent their bill.

The truth is that the HOA Board sent every homeowner their bill via email (if they consented in writing), a paper bill via regular mail or, in many cases like yourself, both email and regular mail. All billing was completed by November 20th, 2012 – more than the required 30 days notice before the due date – and is well documented. Not to mention also the reminder emails, blog posts and Facebook updates about the 2013 dues!

In fact, to date we have received 70 out of 120 payments. Compared to last year at the same time (45/120) and previous years, the system of using email, regular mail reinforced with our website/Facebook page, we are well ahead of any previous years in the HOA! Thank you for your concern though and also for being an avid follower of the HOA website blog.

We have set a HOA record with 86 out of 120 payments received as of today! I have looked back through all the records and minutes of the HOA for payments received in the month of January. There is no doubt that the use of email, regular mail combined with the website and Facebook is working better than in previous years. Thanks to all the diligent homeowners who paid their bills on time! Still some work to do to close the gap closer to 120 but given how well we're doing, it should not take long.
