There is some very good news regarding storm cleanup. First, the City of Yelm is now accepting storm debris FREE of charge. Area residents who have woody debris from the recent storms on their property can drop it off at Yelm Public Works, 901 Rhoton Rd NW from January 25 –to February 2, 2012. Monday -– Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Types of Material: Woody storm debris which includes tree branches and trees.
Diameter - 6 inches or less.
Preferably no more than 6 feet long.
No garbage will be accepted.
Second, our landscape contractor LawnPros spent considerable time at no additional cost to the HOA clearing debris from both entrances and common areas. There is still some more work and fine tuning to do in the common areas and we are having them return again in early February. We are very happy with LawnPros for their customer service. In fact, they have offered to give Nisqually Meadows residents a special rate for individual homeowner debris removal and tree trimming as a result of the storm because of our existing contract. Homeowners or renters who are interested should call LawnPros at 360-894-6336. Please thank them for the good work they are doing.
