The HOA Board decided to remove the playground equipment in the common area park because it was presenting a hazard to children and it was a nuisance to the adjacent homeowners. Unfortunately, the equipment was cheaply constructed and rapidly degraded. It quickly became unstable and many teenagers were abusing it. After several attempts to repair and/or sell the equipment, the Board determined that it was more economical to the HOA to remove it.
